Entities Cyrillic Characters

Cyrillic characters are used by numerous languages across Eastern Europe and northern and central Asia. Unicode provides code points for the Cyrillic alphabet and its additional letters, allowing these characters to be displayed directly in modern HTML documents.

Unlike many Latin and Greek characters, most Cyrillic letters do not have commonly used named HTML character references. They can be entered directly in a UTF-8 document or represented using decimal or hexadecimal numeric character references.
