Color Values Explained
Color Name: HTML and CSS support predefined color names that represent specific colors. Color names such as red, blue, white, and black can be used instead of numeric color values.
HEX: A hexadecimal (HEX) color value represents the red, green, and blue components of a color using hexadecimal digits. A standard six-digit HEX value begins with a hash symbol (#), such as #ff5733.
RGB: The RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color model creates colors by combining different amounts of red, green, and blue light. Each component normally ranges from 0 to 255, such as rgb(255, 87, 51).
HSL: HSL (Hue, Saturation, Lightness) describes a color using its hue along with its saturation and lightness. Hue identifies the basic color, while saturation controls its intensity and lightness controls how light or dark it appears.
HWB: HWB (Hue, Whiteness, Blackness) describes a color using a hue together with amounts of white and black. Increasing the whiteness makes the color lighter, while increasing the blackness makes it darker.
OKLab: OKLab is a perceptual color space designed so that similar numerical changes produce more consistent visual changes. It represents colors using lightness and two color axes and is supported by modern CSS.
OKLCH: OKLCH represents colors using lightness, chroma, and hue. Its controls are particularly useful for creating predictable color variations while maintaining a consistent perceived lightness.
